New client traction, retail holiday trendjacking, a sparkling one-day industry event that lit up the NYC skies, and manufacturing hot topic tracking goes off with a bang!
As the nights draw in for those in the Northern hemisphere, we’ve been lighting our own PR and marketing bonfires at IBA! November has crackled with a new client announcement, a big-bang international event, holiday-season prep, and some seriously explosive coverage wins. So, settle in and read on to see what we’ve been lighting up the skies with this month.
We welcome a new client into the IBA fold
We’ve welcomed a new North American client to the mix, a market-leading asset investment planning and management software provider. We’ve been itching to get started on their campaign and what better way than laying the groundwork for a new product launch!
North America has been an unfamiliar PR territory for this client, so our job was to light the blue market touchpaper with a press release unveiling a brand-new planning tool designed to help asset-intensive organizations make smarter, better-timed investment decisions. A top journalist followed the vapour trail and wrote a feature in one of the top utility trade media outlets in the U.S. We’re off to a cracking start!
And we didn’t stop there. We’ve also kicked off a social media campaign to enhance their corporate North American brand presence on LinkedIn. This has come at a key moment when social isn’t just a “nice to have” in the B2B world — it’s a gravitational force. Over 75% of B2B buyers lean on social channels when making decisions, so getting content in front of the right eyes can do wonders for brand equity and help generate leads and boost conversions.
Lighting up the NYC skyline with international event success
Our enterprise software client has been very busy with their one-day international AI conference in New York this month. A globe-spanning guest list, top-tier journalists, executive speakers, demos, and keynote sessions… and a very tight timeframe for media interviews. But hey, if there’s anything the IBA team love, it’s a challenge.
Through focused outreach, IBA secured double-digit attendance from top-tier journalists across the U.S. and the UK. But the buzz didn’t stop there. Once the event wrapped, the coverage started to pop off! We’ve seen a fantastic mix of 50+ features, press release write-ups, social buzz, and even a podcast from attending and non-attending journalists — with still more to come!
Fireworks turn into holiday fever fueling the media appetite for quality retail commentary
While everyone else is quietly wondering how it’s nearly December, the retail world is already in full festive swing. And so is our data movement client!
We worked with their retail subject matter expert to craft a timely and compelling article exploring how AI is transforming holiday shopping this year — from hyper-personalization to demand forecasting — and why retailers urgently need a smarter approach to moving their data if they want to keep pace with today’s consumer expectations and AI-assisted shopping habits.
And it’s gone down a treat! We’ve already landed some early top-tier IT placements in North America and the Netherlands, with more activity underway as key retail events such as Thanksgiving and Black Friday kick off.
It’s coverage fireworks as hot topic tracking pays off
Sometimes a great story lands because it’s the right idea at the right time – and we have our hot topic tracking to thank for this.
This month our business management software client led by example, putting together a timely piece on the current skills shortage facing the UK manufacturing industry – a topic our team has been actively tracking in recent months. Once drafted, our pitch and place team got to work and within two hours reaped the benefits of tapping into a timely media hot topic!
Two journalists on the hook and one keen to place the article in a new publication for our client. What’s even better, the article was the first piece of content authored by a new subject matter expert! A fantastic start, and a perfect example of how tracking hot topics can boost brand visibility and lay the foundation for profiling a new subject matter expert.
Carrying the heat into the holidays
What a month – new clients and bold social media strategies, a well-attended industry event, holiday retail stories, and lightning-fast media wins — November has kept us on our toes and lit up the skies with activity. As we head into December and prepare for the final push of 2025, the IBA team is more than ready to keep the sparks flying.
